[Jack is standing on the planet's surface, close enough to the Barge that you can see it off to the side. He doesn't look fazed, or especially hurt.]

That was quite a crash.

[The sky is also blue, and the ocean is salty.]

Is everyone alright?

If anyone who isn't hurt is interested in seeing what this world has to offer, I'll be headed out, soon. I'd welcome company.

I'm looking forward to it. [And he sounds like he is, even if there's that still slightly blase tone to his voice. Kind of a far cry from the guy who's always yelling and mad on the regular ship.]

[He makes his way there, climbing out of the wreckage and leaping down to the surface. It's not too far a jump, and he lands with knees bent, one hand in the dirt. He's not far from Jack, and brushes himself off as he straightens.]

You leading the way?

[Jack manages to look passingly impressed by the jump, although he's still not totally floored or anything. It's useful, moderately impressive, not really something to get overly excited about.]

You're welcome to, if you know where we should start looking for supplies.

[He's holding something in his hand. They're (game pieces) rocks: one's black, and the other's white.]

[There is no ruffling this guy, and it's starting to piss Scott off.]

Uh-huh. [He has no clue, but he sets off toward the city anyway, glancing at the rocks as he passes.]

What's that for?

They're game pieces.

[And they're, more than anything else, what's ruffling him. In a good way.

He doesn't believe in much, but he is not going back to that Island.]

[He probably is, because he still doesn't look especially bothered by the obnoxious teenager he's apparently chosen to hang out with.]
